Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with NBC Information forward of his assembly with U.S. President Joe Biden subsequent week, mentioned U.S.-Russia relations are at their lowest level lately.
“We have now a bilateral relationship that has deteriorated to its lowest level lately,” Putin mentioned, in response to an NBC translation of the interview broadcast on Friday.
Putin and Biden will meet in Geneva on Wednesday.
In the interview, Putin praised former President Donald Trump as “a unprecedented particular person, gifted particular person,” and mentioned Biden, as a profession politician, was “radically totally different” from Trump.
Requested about Biden calling him a killer in an interview in March, Putin mentioned he had heard dozens of such accusations. “This isn’t one thing I fear about within the least,” Putin mentioned.
